Canadian Minister says EU 'not capable' of signing deal

Canada's trade minister walked out of talks in Belgium, declaring the European Union was incapable of sealing a planned transatlantic free trade deal designed to boost growth in both economies. Director of Justice Now, talks about why there's widespread opposition to the deal from a coalition of environmentalists and corporate transparency campaigners. UK company British American Tobacco has launched a $47 billion takeover offer for its US counterpart Reynolds. The deal would bring together some of the tobacco industry's best-known brands, including Lucky Strike, Rothmans, Dunhill and Camel cigarettes. Professor Nigel Driffield of Warwick Business School in the UK has been studying the internationalisation of big tobacco and talks about whether this really is a takeover. Unemployment among Lebanon's young people is around 20% , higher than the global average of 13%. This level of unemployment is causing many of them to look abroad for opportunities, causing a 'brain drain. Hugo Goodridge reports from Beirut on what the Lebanese government is trying to do reverse the trend of young people leaving. Alex Ritson is joined by Colin Peacock from Radio New Zealand.
