Newsday

Available for over a year

Haiti is assessing the damage caused by Hurricane Matthew which battered the country with high winds. There's been widespread flooding but the true scale of the destruction and impact on people's lives has yet to emerge. Haiti is one of the poorest countries in the region and there are fears that crops have been ruined, threatening food supplies. Corrigan Clay lives in Haiti and described the effects of the storm - and how faith was helping people cope.
