Labour using 'badly-drawn rules' to purge party

The World This Weekend

Available for over a year

Michael Foster, a prominent donor, has been suspended by the Labour Party over an article he wrote in which Jeremy Corbyn's leadership bid team were likened to Nazi stormtroopers. Speaking to Mark Mardell, Mr Foster predicted the Labour party would use "intentionally badly-drawn" rules to purge the party of "people who do not tow the party line" and that this would mean that all "non-hard left Labour MPs" will eventually be deselected.
