Leicester's celebrating 31 years of the Caribbean Carnival, Saturday, August 6 and marks the yearly celebration - this year, with the theme of "Mas, Music and Myths". It is one of the largest multicultural events in the East Midlands with an estimated 80,000 people on the parade route and 20,000 on the park. BBC Radio Leicester's Kevin Ncube has been charting the beginnings of Carnival and investigating some other facts and figures.
