Over to You

Available for over a year

Catherine Byaruhanga is Ugandan and has been the BBC’s correspondent there for the past four years. She addresses listener concerns that the BBC World Service only focusses on the negative news coming out of the country. Meanwhile, listener Frederick from Kampala wants to know why his country’s most celebrated event - Martyrs Day - was not covered. The God Of Hip Hop, the latest Heart and Soul episode went down well with a lot of listeners. A few got in touch to express their thoughts on the programme, which investigated the complex relationship between hip hop and religion.
