Park Run on the moor

Alfie and Charlie at Breakfast

Available for over a year

Every Saturday morning at the same time, all over the world, millions of people take part in something called Park Run. It is a free, five kilometre, timed run organised by volunteers and open to everyone - and it is even held on Christmas Day. One of the biggest Park Runs in the north-east of England takes place on Newcastle's Town Moor and often attracts more than 600 runners.
