Strikes in France Intensify

World Business Report

Available for over a year

Police fired tear gas at demonstrators in Paris earlier today. Protesters believe the reforms will mean less job security, and weaken the power of unions. Workers at 16 French nuclear power stations have become the latest to strike over the changes. The BBC's Jonty Bloom reports from Toulouse in southern France. Meanwhile, does the world's most widely-used weedkiller pose a threat to human health? Concern is growing that it might. We talk to campaigner Katherine Hamnett.
