Newcastle legend Alan Shearer believes the Newcastle's relegation from the Premier League was "inevitable" given how long they had flirted with the drop. Newcastle were relegated following Sunderland's 3-0 win over Everton. Shearer now hopes manager Rafa Benitez stays and said "I think it would be brilliant if he was to stay but I'd be amazed.
