The talk has all been about what Beyoncé's lyrics reveal about her marriage to Jay Z. But one thing picked up by many critics was the influence of African traditions and contemporary artists that she's included. Naila Keleta-Mae is an Assistant Professor of Theatre and Performance at the University of Waterloo where she taught a course on Beyonce's work.
