Consumer Spending Drives Higher US EconomicGrowth

Overall, the US economy is estimated to have grown at a rate of 2.4% for all of 2015, which is higher than originally thought. One reason for the revised figure was greater consumer spending and an improving jobs market. We hear from Washington DC about whether Americans in the country's capital are feeling the effects of a growing economy. Poland will approve a tripling in the volume of wood to be harvested from Bialowieza Forest, putting the country on a collision course with the European Union and environmentalists. The government says the aim is to stop the degradation of habitats important to the community and start the process of regeneration. Greenpeace describes it as black day for the forest. We speak to Mariana Hoszowska of Greenpeace in Warsaw. And we take a look at the Ford Fiesta - a celebration of one of the world's most popular cars over four decades.
