Migrant Crisis: Turkey & EU Reach Deal on Returns

World Business Report

Available for over a year

Under the new agreement between the EU and Turkey, from midnight Sunday migrants arriving in Greece will be sent back to Turkey if their asylum claim is rejected, EU sources said. In return, EU countries will resettle thousands of Syrian migrants living in Turkey. We talk to Cigdem Nas, secretary general of the Economic Development Foundation (IKV), which is a non-governmental research institution specialized in the field of European affairs and based in Istanbul. Meanwhile, is a powerful business family in South Africa too close for comfort to the government? And how local newspapers are thriving in Britain. Picture Credit: Getty Images
