President Kabbah of Sierra Leone disappears from Freetown as ECOMOG takes control. The troops have been met with little resistance from those loyal to Kabbah in the country's other major towns. Also on the programme, the oil train fire which has killed over 100 people in Yaounde, Cameroon.
