Biomass plant will power 11,000 East Yorks homes

A new £35 million biomass plant has been announced for East Yorkshire that will create 100 long-term manufacturing jobs. The HRS Energy facility in Tansterne in East Yorkshire will provide enough clean energy to power 11,000 homes, but some residents in the hamlet, near to Aldbrough, say house prices have fallen.
