So in Part 3 we heard suggestions that a new form of anti-semitism is arising here in Jersey and beyond. It follows a letter by the head of the island's Jewish congregation who said, in a letter to the Jersey Evening Post, he thinks that a new kind of anti-semitism is emerging where anti-jewish attitudes from the 1930s and forties have become hidden behind growing anti-Israel sentiment and movements. But are those who criticise the state of Israel - such as activists who aspire to realise an independent state of Palestine - being anti-Semitic? Earlier we heard from Natalie Strecker, the co-founder of the Jersey Palestine Solidarity group, and Martha Bernstein the education officer at the synagogue here. They described the controversy that arose from a Pro-palestine meeting. But it's not just at meetings where problems have arisen, but also online... The views featured are controversial and potentially upsetting - and the terms used are disputed by both sides.
