What is to be done with large amount of dangerous civilian nuclear waste around the world? The programme looks at the beginnings of the Manhattan Project and the resulting issue of nuclear waste and how to deal with it, both as a by-product of armament production and the generation of energy. Now it's a problem, dealing with nuclear waste, that could have implications for future generations if not dealt with.
