Can cricketers make it in baseball?

Stumped

Available for over a year

Julien Fountain a former international baseball player for Great Britain and a specialist cricket fielding coach assesses Powell's chance of Major League Baseball success. Fountain worked with West Indies, Pakistan, England and Bangladesh, coaching at two World Cups and one World Twenty20 but told Sarah Mulkerrins it's an 'uphill struggle' for cricketers to succeed as professional baseball players because of the 'vast talent pool' the sport has in the USA. He does however believe that baseball players can transition into good cricketers. He's currently working with MLB prospect Boomer Collins with the aim of him winning a T20 contract in India having been dropped by the Toronto Blue Jays earlier this year. Photo: Julien Fountain.
