Sportsworld

Available for over a year

Former Cannes team-mate and Euro 1984 winner Luis Fernandez says the most important thing for Zinedine Zidane to do as Real Madrid manage is "not to change". Fernandez played at Zidane's first club Cannes before becoming going on to manage the team and Paris St Germain. They have remained friends and regularly meet to discuss football. Fernandez says Zidane has always been "fascinated by watching other coaches" and says Pep Guardiola's success has given him "that desire to make his team play attractive, winning football".
