The 12 Hour Radio Marathon

Mid-morning on BBC Radio Leicester

Available for over a year

Earlier this year, a teenager from Leicestershire embarked on a marathon with a difference. Anita Jane, organised, produced and presented a 12 hour radio marathon in the name of charity, with the aim to raise as much cash as possible. Half of the money raised has gone to the local charity, Freddie's Footsteps, which exists to help and offer support to parents who have still born children. Thursday night, (17/12/15), saw the grande cheque was handed over to the founders of the charity, and BBC Radio Leicester's Owynn Palmer-Atkin went over to the event to find out more.
