Governor of Rye Hill prison, near Daventry Richard Stedman says people comment the sex offenders prison like a 'secure old people's home'. The G4S run facility changed in 2014 to only house sex offenders, and that change has lead to the average age of prisoners rising significantly. A report out today says the prison has strong leadership and a low level of violence but need to improve health care services.
