Episode details

Available for over a year
Each year, the BBC World Stories project looks for unique, innovative and surprising stories to uncover for the World Service audience. Last year, the World Stories scheme brought untold stories to the network that included a soccer team of nuns in Tibet, a search for Tiny Libraries in New Zealand and the trade of body parts for use in medical science in the US. The scheme has launched again for the next coming year and Editor Neil Trevithick explains what he is looking for. Plus, listener Mwamba Onyiego from Nairobi in Kenya puts his three questions in three minutes to Alice Muthengi, the editor of the BBC Dar es Salaam bureau on how the team covered the recent Tanzanian elections and what can be expected from upcoming elections in Kenya and Uganda.
