Council 'take away' £10.25m Cobblers loan

Northampton Borough Council has 'taken away' the £10.25m loan from Northampton Town and say they will look to recoup the money through the land they had given the club. However, the leader of Northampton Borough Council, Mary Markham has said she will be pursuing David Cardoza, who was chairman of the Cobblers at the time of the loan, to try and get their money back.
