'Black ice' is invisible and often forms when rain falls in already-freezing temperatures. BBC Radio Berkshire's Chris Browning climbed into a simulator at the Transport Research Laboratory in Crowthorne, and learned how hard the ice is to spot, and how easy it is to lose control.
