5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

Phil Neville believes that England defender John Stones could play for the best clubs in world football, including Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid. Stones, who plays for Neville's old club Everton, has impressed many with his assured performances at the back for the Toffees. Former England defender Neville, now a coach at Spanish side Valencia, believes Stones can play to a top-class level at any club in the world. "I think he can play, not just at the best clubs in England, but at the best clubs in Europe. I really do," Neville told BBC Radio 5 live. "One of the big boys in Spain, or Bayern Munich - I think he's at that level. They'll be looking at him and thinking this boy is something special." This clip is from 5 live Sport on Friday 20 November 2015.
