The President of Sierra Leone, Ernest Bai Koroma, has said that he was disappointed with the international response to the Ebola outbreak. Speaking to BBC Radio 5 live's Anna Foster on a flight to Sierra Leone, he said, "I will honestly say that the response was not as expected, but we are now working together". He believes that there are "lessons to be learnt" by the international community and the World Health Organisation when dealing with future crises and that Sierra Leone "will be stronger after Ebola". After almost 4,000 deaths, Sierra Leone is just days away from being declared free from Ebola.
