World Business Report

Available for over a year

In Turkey, the governing AK Party is hoping to win back its majority, and hoping to bring bring stability to a country whose economy is faltering. We talk to the BBC's Selin Gilit, who's on the ground in the country. Meanwhile, Mumbai boasts of a lavish airport terminal but away from the big cities, India's air ports are often described as 'shoddy'. Back in June the head of the International Air Transport Authority said major global airlines weren't investing in Indian carriers because of poor infrastructure across the country. The government says that'll now change - with the introduction of a 2 per cent levy on domestic and international air tickets from next year. Shantanu Guha Ray, Deputy Editor of India Today talks to us about his thoughts on the policy. Picture: BBC
