"My village was drowned when I was 9 years old"

Jason Mohammad

Available for over a year

Fifty years ago, Capel Celyn in the Tryweryn valley was flooded to provide the City of Liverpool with water. The village school, chapel, post office, farms and 12 houses disappeared as a result - with everyone who lived there losing their homes and way of life. Our reporter Llinos Pritchard went to Tryweryn where she met Eurgain Prysor, who was just nine years old when the valley, her home, was flooded.
