A special report on malaria, 100 years after first attempts to eradicate the disease. The mosquito-borne disease continues to kill millions every year, however it has been eradicated from some parts of the world. Proper treatment of the disease can ease symptoms and save lives. The programme looks at whether malaria will ever be totally eradicated and the less familiar consequences of infection.
