A Tribute To Florence Nightingale

Health Matters

Available for over a year

A tribute to Florence Nightingale, pioneering nurse who was born in 1820 and died in 1910. She was sent to help in the Crimean War and was known as 'the lady in the lamp' for her diligence to night-time care of patients. She was a nurse who started out as a statistician but went on to carve out a role for women as nurses, equal and difference to doctors.
