Episode details

Available for over a year
After 61 years on the road - in Ewan MacColl's centenary year - Peggy Seeger remembers working beautifully with her late, great husband, and talks about the musical talent threaded through both their families. Peggy reflects on the performer's ego, her own singing style and that of her brother Pete Seeger. She recalls meeting Lead Belly; the time a young Bob Dylan asked for her autograph; and considers how she's mellowed now that she's a little bit older and injecting humour into her performance, thanks to the influence of Irene Pyper-Scott.
