New roles for Women in Agriculture

Women in Tanzania are making the big step needed to turn domestic sidelines into food processing businesses, producing tomato ketchup, weaning foods and lemon grass oil. Supported by UNIDO, they are becoming entrepreneurs and businesswomen. In Bangladesh, women are taking on more roles in farming with socially beneficial results.
