Farmers are being blamed for growing the raw material of the global narcotics trade. But is this fair when coca, marijuana and opium can pay up to 20 times more than food crops for many impoverished small farmers? How can farmers in Latin America, the Caribbean and Middle East be helped to grow and profit from other crops?
