Medical Notes

Available for over a year

Franz Liszt was plagued by self doubt despite his happy-go-lucky public persona. Becoming his family's main breadwinner as a child, Liszt had felt pressure to perform at an early age. Despite poor health as a child he grew into a healthy adult. The most successful he got the more he used alcohol and medication to cope with intense anxiety and issues of self esteem.
