Yu Wensheng, a human rights lawyer, has been accused by the Chinese authorities of "picking quarrels and provoking trouble". In 2014 he was detained for three months and eventually released without charge, but then at the beginning of August he was imprisoned again. This time he was freed 24 hours later.
