In her first broadcast interview about the affair, former Reddit Talent Director Victoria Taylor explains what happened to her after she was fired by the social network. Earlier this year, Victoria, known on Reddit as /u/chooter, was suddenly dismissed from her job as Talent Director with the website. Her removal prompted petitions, protest shutdowns and criticism of Reddit that contributed to the resignation of CEO Ellen Pao. She said the media storm that surrounded her dismissal was "surreal", and at one point she was followed by a photographer. But she also said she had been "incredibly moved" by the support she received from the Reddit community, and the wider internet.
