US Economic Growth Picks Up

US GDP figures were published today – and the world’s biggest economy has grown by 2.3%. But does it feel like that to people on the streets of New York? The BBC's Michelle Fleury talks to the city's shoppers and explained what the numbers mean for the economy as a whole. Once again the global media is looking for Malaysian airliner flight MH370, after a piece of wreckage, as yet unidentified, was washed up on the French island of Reunion in the Indian Ocean. We speak to Jennifer Pak, our correspondent in Kuala Lumpur. Greenpeace activists are preventing a ship belonging to Shell from leaving the shore by dangling themselves from a bridge, blocking its way. The ship, named Fennica, is set to begin drilling for oil in the Arctic. We hear from the protestors and from Shell's chief executive Ben Van Beurden. Plus, we meet a wedding planner with a sideline in being a bridesmaid for hire.
