German Parliament Backs Greece Debt Deal

The German parliament has voted to support the EU's bailout rescue deal for Greece. We hear how the Chancellor, Angela Merkel, warned politicians the alternative would be chaos. German MP Stefan Liebisch explains why he voted against the deal. Japan has cancelled a project to build a new stadium for the Olympics in Tokyo in 2020, because its cost has swelled to more than $2 billion. Japanese sports journalist, Kumi Kinohara, tells us the design of the sleek ultra modern stadium caused controversy and the billowing costs forced the government to go back to the drawing board. Imagine being locked up for several months, without even knowing the charge against you, after you and some friends uploaded a comedy video to YouTube. That is exactly what Shezanne Cassim, an American citizen, says happened to him and his friends in the United Arab Emirates. He was subsequently deported to the United States, but is now struggling to find work because of the criminal conviction.
