Sailing events boot Isle of Wight economy

The world famous Round the Island Race takes place every summer with over 1500 boats of all shapes and sizes setting off from Cowes taking on the 50 nautical mile circumnavigation of the island. The race, along with the historic Cowes Week regatta give a much needed boost to the island's economy. David Thornton, chief executive of Visit Isle of Wight has been talking to BBC Radio Solent's told Neil Sackley.
