BBC Essex can reveal that the Metropolitan Police is investigating a fresh allegation of child sex abuse against the former Essex catholic priest Tony McSweeney McSweeney was jailed in March for abusing a fifteen year old boy at a children's Home and for possession of indecent images of children. He committed the crimes before he became a priest in 1984. One of McSweeney's victims who gave evidence at his trial has been speaking anonymously to BBC Essex Sunday Breakfast reporter Thomas Magill.
