Greece's Lenders Demand Changes to Reform Proposals

A big gap remains between the Greek government and its lenders. Prime minister Alexis Tsipras has been meeting his country's international creditors in Brussels today. Reports suggest his proposed reforms, including pension changes and some tax increases, do not go far enough to satisfy the lenders. The talks are fraught because Greece has to make a repayment to the International Monetary Fund by next Tuesday. We have the latest from both Athens and Brussels. A landmark ruling has delivered a slap in the face to the Dutch government's climate change policy. A court in the Hague has ordered the government to cut greenhouse gas significantly, in a move which environmentalists hope will set a precedent for other countries.
