Eurozone Finance Ministers Meet for Crisis Talks on Greece

World Business Report

Available for over a year

Eurozone finance ministers meet for crisis talks on Greece's future in the single currency, but the boss of the International Monetary Fund, Christine Lagarde, warns there will be "no period of grace" for Greece over a debt repayment deadline. The people of Denmark have been voting in a general election dominated by immigration and the economy. Denmark's first female premier, the Social Democrat Helle Thorning-Schmidt, is hoping her country's economic revival will return her to office. Meanwhile, the opposition centre-left alliance, led by Lars Lokke Rasmussen, is promising tax breaks and tougher controls on immigration. Opinion polls suggest the result is too close to call. The BBC's Malcolm Brabant reports from Copenhagen. Also on the programme, the Pope intervenes in the debate over climate change and declares human beings the key culprits. And tracking your fitness is big business: Fitbit, which makes wristbands that count your calories and footsteps, raises more than $730m as its shares began trading for the first time in New York.
