BBC Afghan: News and Views

Over to You

Available for over a year

BBC Afghan recently launched two new programmes in their daily schedule which are led by audience views and Rajan Datar goes behind the scenes at the evening edition, News and Views, to see how the production team respond to live feedback from their listeners. The programme’s presenter Inayatulhaq Yasini discusses the importance of hearing ordinary citizens give their opinion on the news output and editor Meena Baktash gives her reaction to knowing that groups like the Taliban may be closely following her service’s broadcasts. Also, a new BBC World Service series exploring the consequences of migrant labour got you talking on social media. We look at some of those reactions to the Workers Without Borders series.
