Nominator: Janet Stevens From: North Shields Janet has her choice of the brilliant Hollies inducted in to the Singers Hall of Fame on Sunday Night with Michael Ball Why: "I remember them singing one of my favourites, “Gasoline Alley Bred”, on Top of the Pops. I was staying with my cousin, Susan, and her family, and she took me to watch the programme at her friend’s house. I could hardly believe my eyes – they had a colour TV set! What bliss to see Allan, Tony, Bobby, Bernie and Terry in glorious colour! Those were the days." Thank you Janet for your nomination.
