India's Deadly Heatwave

Big Boss Interview

Available for over a year

At least 500 people are reported to have died in a heatwave sweeping India. We speak to BBC Hindi reporter Avinash Dutt in Delhi. As avian flu affects almost 40 million birds in the US, we hear about the resulting egg shortage, and how some companies are hoping to offer alternatives. In Hong Kong, children as young as six months old are being put through special training to get into the top kindergartens - we interview the boss of one such facility. And the BBC's Theo Leggett finds out whether 3D printing is living up to the hype. We're joined throughout the programme by Diana Furchtgott-Roth, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research in Washington DC and in Singapore by David Kuo of the Motley Fool.
