Matt Piper on Matty James' knee injury

Leicester City Boot Room

Available for over a year

Former Leicester City winger Matt Piper says midfielder Matty James will be going through "a nightmare" as he recovers from a long-term knee injury. James has been ruled out for up to 9 months after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in his knee in last weekend's Premier League win over Southampton. Piper suffered a similar injury during his playing career and told BBC Radio Leicester it'll be a long road for him to get fully fit and up to speed.
