5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

Former England boss Graham Taylor denies claims that the FA influenced selection policy. According to a new book about racism within football, the FA tried to impose an unofficial quota system limiting the number of black players an England manager should be allowed to use. Taylor vehemently denies these claims, saying 'I have no memory of that conversation.' He added: 'I never had any problem in regards to team selection concerning black players from the FA.' This clip first appeared on 5 live on 06 May 2015.
