New flow of politics along the 'Red Clyde'

The World Tonight

Available for over a year

Ritula Shah took a journey along the River Clyde to find out what voters are thinking. She visited the constituency of Inverclyde, a place littered with the ghosts of Scotland's industrial heyday - when shipbuilding and sugar refining brought jobs and prosperity. This is traditionally solid Labour territory - the seat has been held by the party almost continuously since 1936. But as Ritula found, that all seems to be changing as a result of the SNP's rise. You can see a full list of the candidates standing in Inverclyde on the BBC website - bbc.co.uk/news and then go to the Constituencies guide on General Election 2015 pages
