Wolf Whistling: Harrassment or harmless fun?

The World Tonight

Available for over a year

Poppy Smart, a 23-year old from Worcester, was so fed up with being whistled at on her way to work by local builders that she filmed what was happening and reported them to the police. Was she right to? Scott Mullins, Operations Director of Pimilco Plumbers, and Angela Epstein, journalist and social commentator, discussed the issue. Wolf whistling has been a tradition which has rung through high streets for generations - harmless fun to some; sexual harrassment to others. photo credit: BBC Newsbeat
