The skippers for the 2015 Clipper Race are revealed.

Lou Hannan

Available for over a year

At the end of August 2015, twelve identical yachts will slip their lines at the start of a 40,000 mile adventure. The crews will battle against waves the height of houses, drift in no wind for hours on end and sail into some of the most famous harbours in the world. Each team in the The Clipper Race is led by a skipper - the only professional sailor on board. They come from all corners of the world, and for the first time in the race's history - the line-up includes two women. Three of the skippers - Max Stunnell, Jim Prendergast and Greg Miller are from Hampshire, they've been chatting with BBC Radio Solent's Neil Sackley.
