James Brown is inducted in to Michael Balls Singers Hall of Fame

Sunday Night with Michael Ball

Available for over a year

Nominator: Derek Harmon From: Leeds, Yorkshire Derek has his choice of the Godfather of Soul, James Brown inducted in to the Singers Hall of Fame on Sunday Night with Michael Ball Why: "This man’s music has been the soundtrack to my life. As a teenager in the 60s, his music opened up a whole new world of sound to me. Nobody could sing like this man. He is best known for his funky soul sounds which can still fill a dancefloor, but he also had a very soulful voice which could stir the emotions and senses, and really wring the heart.” Thank you Derek for your choice of James Brown, he truly is an inspiration to all the great soul singers that have come after him and we are proud to induct him in to the Singers Hall of Fame.
