Sceptical in South Korea

From Our Own Correspondent

Available for over a year

Steve Evans in Seoul reports on South Koreans' attitudes to their cousins in the North, and finds caution and scepticism towards some of the stories told by North Korean defectors. Wyre Davies in Argentina finds that the president, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, has lost support over her handling of the news of the death in mysterious circumstances of a public prosecutor who was about to accuse her in Congress of covering up alleged Iranian involvement in Argentina's worst terrorist attack. Linda Yueh is in Nashville, Tennessee and finds it's become an unlikely centre for the resurgence of US manufacturing and Christine Finn in northern Finland tries her hand at husky mushing and manages to see the Northern Lights, but only thanks to those huskies.
